We used the driving service for our first trip to Japan, and it could not have gone smoother. It was easy to find and meet our driver when we arrived at the airport and when we were picked up to head back to the airport. I would definitely recommend this service for any first timers. Honestly, it took the stress out of traveling to and from the airport and easily accommodated my family of 5. Communication was easy and everyone was extremely helpful/friendly. If you are concerned about using the subway system for the first time, I’d use this driving service to ease your mind.

Japan Holiday Transport and Chauffeur.
We booked several transfers within Japan, Firstly, from the Airport to our accommodation in Tokyo and then to and from Hakuba. Their buses and bus drivers were always on time and comfortable for our party of 13 people + luggage. Great experience. Driver was very safe and polite. He was professional and able to guide/explain about Hakuba. It was snowy and Safety is the upmost important. Lydia from their office was always polite and she also responded within 24 hours. Trustworthy company with local knowledge.

My family and I took an 8/9 hours transportation/tour of Hakone with Japan Holiday, and they were amazing! Our driver was very gentle, helpful and thoughtful :) we were traveling with an infant and elderly parents, and he would inform us if the weather seemed colder and that he would wait nearby if we wanted to run back into the car quickly, or he would head over to the restaurants/tea house to check if they were open before letting us out. Really appreciated it! Also, James was very responsive and helpful when coordinating our travels prior to the trip. Thanks so much and would definitely book again when we need a tour/transport!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to hire a private driver at the very last minute and very grateful to James, whom is very resourceful in finding me a driver in less than 2 hours upon my contact with him. Otherwise, I would have to cancel my planned itinerary. The driver, Mr. Sun whom was assigned to us speaks Mandarin and is very helpful and a safe driver. I will definitely use their service again the next time we are back in Japan but will book in advance this time. Once again, thank you James and team!

We booked a driver with Japan Holiday to tour around Kawaguchiko (2 hours from Tokyo), the driver took us to the places we wanted to go as well as suggesting places for us to tour, telling us about some interesting facts around the area. We went for the full day and then the driver dropped us off at Haneda airport. We had a lot of fun. Very professional, reliable and convenient service. Highly recommend if there are older folks, or if you want to tour areas outside of Tokyo. Had an excellent service from the beginning I contacted them until the end of the trip. Very communicative, I can ask anything with a very quick response. Very helpful by guiding me for payments and trustworthy. Even though the driver could not speak English but He tried so hard to communicate with us using translator app...we really appreciated his effort and patiently waited for us until we finished shopping. Definitely will use the service again when we get back to Japan and happily recommend it to relatives and friends.

Our driver guide in Hokkaido, Kan was the best of all and very accommodating. He really went above and beyond. All other drivers were great too and very responsible. He was very accommodating and patient towards my family including my grandmother who is on wheelchair. He went above and beyond to make sure the trip was enjoyable and comfortable for us. He was very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable about the popular spots in Japan. His service was exceptional and impeccable. We booked a driver/transport with the company for our family of 5, which included an elderly mobility challenged person. Our itinerary was Osaka to Kyoto which is not the most elderly friendly city with a lot of walking. We appreciated the flexibility of a private van to drop us off/ pick us up at our convenience, which is important as our elderly mum got tired easily. We engaged Chinese speaking drivers for the benefit of our mum. Our drivers/guides were very accommodating and helpful. One even helped us carry the foldable chair for mum. When we requested the van for airport transfers/ferrying luggage, and switching to the more comfortable Alphard for the day tours in Kyoto, the company acceded to our request. James was very responsive with the emails prior to the trip. Only suggestion is perhaps they can help recommend hotels/ Kyoto itinerary for us, which will save us a lot of research. We would use their service again if we go back.

My husband and I were schedule to depart for Japan on 06OCT2022 after having to cancel 2 other bookings within 3 years because of Covid. Japan announced that they would be opening up on 11OCT2022. We could not change our dates so now we needed an ERFS certificate to travel for the 4 day period between 06OCT and 11OCT. I contacted many Japanese travel agencies including Japan Holiday regarding the certificate and only James of Japan Holiday responded positively to my request. We turned our itinerary over to James, who proceeded to arrange for our certificate and within 2 days including working over a weekend, James had completed our certificate so could apply for our visas. The service we received was impeccable, prompt and courteous. Every aspect of our trip went like clockwork. I cannot say enough good things about Japan Holiday, the service we received and especially James efforts. Thank you James for saving our trip to Japan and making it so easy.

Have just booked our fourth trip with Japan Holiday. The consultants listen carefully to our requirements/likes and propose an itinerary to suit. They are happy to amend as necessary. The documentation they provide is very comprehensive. Our previous trips have been excellent and have gone very smoothly, apart from things outside Japan Holiday's control eg weather. Fortunately, we have not needed to test how they respond if things went wrong.

I cannot praise the Japan holiday specialist advisor highly enough. She knew the areas we wanted to visit and advised us on options. We tweaked the itinerary three times before we settled it but the specialist was extremely patient with us and very pleasant to deal with over the phone.
