Japanholiday.com is the provider of this website. Use of this website is an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions. Do not use access this site if you do not agree to any part of the terms and conditions.Japanholiday is incorporated in Tokyo, Japan, and thus Japanese laws are applicable to our company. Japanholiday reserves the right to modify the website or to change the terms and conditions in any way.

1/ Information on Website
These terms are applicable to www.japanholiday.com. This site and all of its contents, including text, software, and images, are the copyrighted property of Japanholiday. No part of the site's contents may be reproduced, changed, or distributed without the express written permission of Japanholiday.

2/ Accessing Japanholiday.com
Japanholiday reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to its website at any time, and such termination will not affect any legal rights or equity relief to which Japanholiday is entitled. We cannot guarantee that our website content will be available at any given moment, as there are times when we may need to suspend, discontinue, or change our website without notice.

3/ Reservation Payment
After receiving your inquiry, a representative will contact you within 24 hours to help create a tour plan. A 30% deposit will be required to secure any booking you choose to make. When we have received your deposit and all necessary documents, we will complete the reservations for you. Japanholiday reserves the right to request a higher deposit or an advance payment during peak season to secure your booking. The full or final payment needs to be made 45 days before the departure date; if you book less than 45 days before the departure date, full payment is required. Japanholiday reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary and offer alternatives for a revised itinerary in the case of an extraordinary event beyond our control (Force Majeure clause). Accepting receipt of deposit or final payment will demonstrate that you and your travel agent have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. We accept 5 methods of payment: Credit card, Wire transfer, Check, PayPal, and Cash. If the situation arises where required confirmation cannot be made in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund the cardholder's account for our own and the cardholder's protection.

4/ Package Tours Cancellation Refund
We must collect all deposits when reservations are made. The amount of the deposit, the amount of the refund, and the deadline for canceling vary according to our Rules of Cancellation. Should you choose to cancel your booking, please submit your cancellation in writing; refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.
If any paid travel-related services have not been provided to the client as per the tour itinerary, the client shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Japanholiday policy. The cancellation fee is calculated as follows:
1) 30+days prior to scheduled departure date: 0% of the full payment per person
2) 20-29 days prior to scheduled departure date: 10% of the full payment per person
3) 10-19 days prior to scheduled departure date: 20% of the full payment per person
4) 6-9 days prior to scheduled departure date: 50% of the full payment per person
5) 0-5 days prior to scheduled departure date: 100% of the full payment per person
Additional cancellation-related service fees by third parties (banks and payment platforms, airlines, cruises, hotels, railways, etc.) will be deducted from the total refund amount.

5/ Complaints and Claims
If you are not satisfied with our service, please immediately notify your local tour guide or your travel agent to avoid potential similar problems continuing to occur during your trip. For any complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by e-mail. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim.

6/ Other Than Japan Holiday
All airlines impose cancellation and change fees, which can be 100% for some discount tickets as well as any increase in fare. In addition, if your flight is delayed for any reason, the airline is not responsible for costs you might incur as a result. All cruise lines and some hotels and car-rental agencies impose cancellation and change fees. Please review the relevant procedures for more information before you make your booking. Japanholiday reserves the right to charge an administrative fee on airline tickets issued through this website when there is a purchase, change, or cancellation fee imposed by the airline.

7/ Terms And Conditions On The Chauffeur Services
If your pickup place is at an airport, such as Tokyo Narita Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport, our driver will wait for you at the terminal for maximum of 100 minutes after your flight arrives. If you encounter issues that will take a long time to resolve (eg. Luggage is damaged…), please contact your driver immediately. Otherwise, our drivers will assume clients forgo their service (without refund).

If your pickup place is at a hotel, our driver will greet you in hotel lobby. Because there are limited parking in Japan hotels, our driver can only wait you for a maximum of 30 minutes. If you encounter any emergency, please contact your driver immediately. Otherwise, our drivers will assume clients forgot their service (without refund).

If we could not provide the transfer service because you have provided incorrect information on address, flight number, cruise terminal name, or pick up time, we will not refund for the transfer service. Japan has strict regulations on luggage quangtity during car transfer. If your luggage exceed the accepted number pieces, we reserve the right to withdraw the transfer service, the extra passengers and luggage might have to arrange other transportation at your own expense.

Regarding the Japan chauffeur service for one day (maximum 10 hours), if the drop off place is not the same as the pick-up place, especially when the drop off place is out of Tokyo, our 10 hours service includes the time that drivers driving back to Tokyo. For any service hours before 8:00AM or after 10:00PM, additional overtime fee of $50USD per hour will be charged. This term applies to all private transfer service.

5-9 days prior to scheduled service date: 20% of the full payment
3-4 days prior to scheduled service date: 40% of the full payment
0-2 days prior to scheduled service date: 100% of the full payment

6+days prior to scheduled service date: 0% of the full payment
3-4 days prior to scheduled service date: 40% of the full payment
0-2 days prior to scheduled service date: 100% of the full payment

Most Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our flight delayed for a day because of typhoon. Can I have partial refund for the portion I miss?
    We are very sorry to hear. Because we have already paid for the hotels, bus, and other services in advance, no refund can be provided for loss due to natural disaster. In these cases, you can file a claim to your travel insurance company and we can provide any relevant documents.
  • If my flight got cancelled, can I get a refund for my airport transfer service?
    It depends on when you request to cancel the transfer. Considering the undesirable situation, we usually can provide partial refund for cancellation made 3 days in advance.
  • If we are not satisfied with the service, who should I complain to?
    You can send any feedback to your agent, and our Complaint Department will investigate into the issue. If the dissatisfaction is caused by cultural misunderstanding, such as difference in food culture, our representative can provide detail explanation.
