Mount Fuji Half-Day Tour From Tokyo
If you have limited time to visit Tokyo, we recommend a half-day tour of Mount Fuji. The half day tour is only 5 hours. It takes about 2 hours from Tokyo to get to the attractions around Mount Fuji. You can stay at the attraction for 1 hour. Then you will return to Tokyo to your drop off point or hotel. The standard itinerary is as follows:
Depart from downtown Tokyo according to your selected departure time, then head to Mount Fuji. You can choose to see the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi or Oshino Hachikai. After staying for an hour, we will return to downtown Tokyo, as a result of a 5-hour trip total.

Mount Fuji Day Tour from Tokyo
Compared to the half-day tour, the Mount Fuji Day Tour allows you to visit Mount Fuji as long as you would like on a day tour. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji, and you can visit as many famous attractions as possible around Mount Fuji. Our standard itinerary is as follows:

Our guide or driver will meet you at the hotel and drive to the foothills of Mount Fuji. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the scenic landscape at Mount Fuji 5th Station. If the weather is unpleasant, we will visit Mount Fuji World Heritage Center instead. Next, we will visit Oshino Hakkai, a historic natural attraction comprising of eight ponds that are all that remains of a former sixth lake dried up several hundred years ago. Next, we will proceed to Peace Park and then we will head back to the hotel or your drop off point. It will be a 10-hour service.

Of course, if you would like to change the itinerary, you can also tailor it and pick other attractions around Mount Fuji to see the beauty of Mount Fuji, like Chureito Pagoda, the Great Lakes District, etc. You can even visit tourist cities such as Kamakura and Yokohama on the way back to Tokyo. Our day trip to Mount Fuji is a 10-hour service from the hotel to the hotel.

Day 01 Tokyo - Mount Fuji

Tonight, we will dine on the local delicacies of the traditional multi-course Japanese dinner. You can enjoy all the facilities of the hotel and the varieties of the hot spring spas.

Day 02 Mount Fuji - Tokyo
After breakfast, you can enjoy all the facilities of the hotel and the varieties of the hot spring spas. We will check out of the hotel at 1:00 PM and drive to Kamakura, visiting Kamakura Daibutsu and Noodle Museum, and then back to the hotel in Tokyo along the Tokyo Bay, ending the two-day tour of Tokyo to Mount Fuji.

Yokohama Port to Mount Fuji
After a cruise, stopping at Yokohama Port, it may be a good idea to stop by Mount Fuji and stay in Tokyo overnight. In the morning, we will depart from Yokohama Pier to Mount Fuji 5th Station and Oshino Hachikai and then return to the hotel in Tokyo. We offer a 10-hour private half-day tour.   • What should I wear to the Mount Fuji tour?
    Depending on the season, the choice of clothing varies. If it is not for mountain climbing, the temperature in Mount Fuji in the summer, spring, and autumn will be similar to downtown Tokyo. If it is in the winter, you will need warm winter clothes. Especially at the 5th Station, the temperature is much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.
  • For the One-Day Tour to Mount Fuji, do I choose to visit Hakone or Lake Kawaguchi?
    If you are traveling on the same day, Lake Kawaguchi is recommended. Lake Kawaguchi is relatively convenient for transportation to Tokyo. You can get a beautiful view of Mount Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi, and also visit Oshino Hachiman.
  • Can your two-day tour of Mount Fuji provide a German-speaking guide?
    Yes, we can provide German-speaking guides for your Mount Fuji day trips, but you will need to book in advance. For the two-day tour of Mount Fuji, you will need to pay additional fees to provide accommodation for your guide.

    As of right now, our company does not have any Mount Fuji Join-In tours. From Tokyo to Mount Fuji, we currently only provide private tours. You can choose to take public transportation with the Japanese tour guide, or you can choose to transfer by vehicle to Mount Fuji.
