At the Mother Farm, guests can pick and eat fresh strawberry. You can also ride the Kominato Tetsudo, which has over a hundred year of history, around the rapeseed fields. The maple leaves season is generally from October to early December, with the optimal period from mid October to November. Chiba has three great spot for maple leaves viewing, and Yoro-keikoku Valley is probably the most well known. Awamata-no-taki Falls, also called mirage waterfalls, is the largest waterfall in Chiba. Here visitors can enjoy fishing, picnicking, camping, as well as taking a hot spring spa. If you would like to see the maple leaves in Chiba, you can also visit the Naritasan Park. From 12 Nov - 27 Nov, the Naritasan Park hosts tea ceremony, during which you can enjoy viewing maple leaves as well as green mosses.
