Although Azabujuban is located in the center of Tokyo, it is a surprisingly leisurely neighborhood. This high-end residential block is filled with nostalgic atmosphere that has continued from the Edo period to the present. Nevertheless, as a business district since ancient times, Azabujuban Shotengai still retains the unpretentious, frank, and intimate feeling, with hundreds of years old shops standing alongside fashion boutiques and cafes.  Azabujuban is also home to multiple embassies and is a residential neighborhood favored by diplomats and internationals. The perfect fusion of tradition and city gives a truly unique feeling here. The main business district of Azabujuban is at exits 4 and 5 of the Azabujuban Shotengai station. The traditional old-fashioned shops on the shopping street, fashionable restaurants and urban life shops add a touch of bright color to this place.



Juban Inari-jinja Shrine
Juban Inari-jinja Shrine is located in Azabujuban, Tokyo. The nearest subway exit is Azabu-juban Station Exit 7 of Toei Ōedo Line, and you will arrive at the shrine as soon as you leave the station. Facing the right hand side of the torii, there are two stone statues of frogs. According to legend, a fire broke out in the Edo period (1821 AD), the fire burned all nearby neighborhood with the exception of the Yamazaki.

Azabujuban Shotengai
Azabujūban Shotengai, located in the center of Azabujuban, has more than 300 stores, many of which have a history of more than 100 years. As an area where foreign embassies, diplomats, and overseas workers like to patronize, many new high-end fashion boutiques, cafes, and restaurants have opened in the shopping street. You can taste international dishes such as burritos and Italian dishes, as well as traditional Japanese pastries and pancakes.

Azabu Kokubisui Hot Spring
Azabu Kokubisui Hot Spring is a pure hot spring bath facility located in Minamiazabu. Azabu Kokubisui Hot Spring, which is rich in large amounts of minerals, and has a good skin-beautifying effect. There are three baths with different water temperatures such as 40 ℃, 43 ℃ and 17 ℃. The interior of Azabu Kokubisui Hot Spring is completely different from the traditional Japanese hot spring facilities.

Public Transportation: The nearest station is Azabu-juban Station, which can be reached by taking Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and Toei Oedo Line. From Shinjuku Station: take the JR Yamanote Line to Yoyogi Station. Then transfer to Toei Oedo Line and get off at Azabu-juban Station. It takes about 20 minutes. From Tokyo Station: Take the JR Chūō Main Line express train to Yotsuya Station. Then transfer to Tokyo Metro Namboku Line to Azabu-juban Station and get off. It takes about 30 minutes.
