Additional to group tour and private transfer, our team is glad to offer Shinkansen ticket reservation. Due to the number of different Shinkansens and the complicated online ticketing process, we provide ticket booking service for your convenience. After receiving basic information and payment, our agent will book your ticket and sent it to your desired pick up location.


Shinkansen has three types of tickets: Reserved/Green reserved/Unreserved. Once you inform us the starting point and final destination, we will help to choose the best route.  If you are traveling in a group of two or more, we can also arrange the seats together.  To provide a convenient service hour to America and European customers, we have opened an office in Los Angeles. Reserved Seats: Guaranteed assigned seat with seat number in regular cabin
Unreserved Seats: Seats are not assigned, and choose any available seat in designated area upon boarding
Green Reserved: Spacious assigned seat with seat number in the high class cabin.

Most Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why do I have to provide a shipping address?
    To ride a Shinkansen, you need to have "physical tickets". A shipping address needs to be provided when placing your order so we can ship you your tickets. The Shinkansen has no "e-tickets".
  • When will my tickets be delivered to the hotel?
    A week before your check-in date, we will ship your tickets so that you can collect them upon checking in. The ticket should be delivered to your hotel within a day or two.
  • Can you deliver my tickets to my Airbnb accommodation?
    Yes, we can ship your tickets to be delivered a day after your check-in, so you can receive your tickets in the mail. Please let us know if there is a specific date you want your tickets to be sent by.
  • Am I able to cancel my order?
    Yes. Please refer to the cancellation policy below:
    Before shipment:
    100% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days before the departure date (including the departure date).
    90 % refund if cancellation is made between 7-29 days before the departure date.
    No refund if cancellation is made less than 7 days before the departure date.

    No refund is available once the tickets have been shipped, as the shipment is usually made a week before your check-in date.
  • Am I able to return my ticket after receiving it?
    No, you are not able to return or get a refund for your ticket once we have shipped your tickets and received them.

    If your travel plans change, please visit a ticket desk at any JR train station with your ticket and ask for a change to adjust to your new plans.
  • How many days ahead of time can I order a ticket online?
    There is no limit to a time frame to order your tickets in advance online. You can purchase the tickets when you have planned your trip and created a schedule, even if it is more than a year ahead.

    However, please note for shipping to any address in Japan, an order should be made three days before your departure date, since there will not be enough time for your tickets to be delivered if you order less than two days before your departure date.

    For international shipping, we recommend you order more than two weeks before your departure to Japan to make sure you receive your ticket.
  • Am I able to request a certain seat, such as a window seat at reservation?
    Yes, if you have seat requests, such as the window seat or the last row, please let us know by filling in the requests section on the form where it asks for any requests (it will be shown after you add your ticket items to the cart), or simply email us after your order is completed.

    Please note that there is a possibility that we cannot meet your requests, especially during peak seasons or when the order is made last minute. We will try our best, but there are no guarantees.
  • Am I able to change the date and time on my ticket reservation after receiving it?
    Yes, in most cases you can change your departure date and time before the departure time that is printed on the ticket. Restrictions may apply for some trains or stations. Please visit a ticket desk at any JR station with your ticket and ask if they can change the date and time for you.
  • Am I able to change my seat after receiving the tickets?
    In most cases, yes you can. Please visit the ticket desk at the JR station to change your seat assignment. However, you may not be able to change your seats depending on your schedule. Trains depart in the morning and evening, and during peak seasons it is most often fully booked in advance.
  • There are more than 2 people in my party, can I get seats next to each other?
    If you are in a party of more than 2, your seats will be assigned together, so you do not need to ask us to request for seats next to each other. We will inform you separately in case we cannot arrange for your seats to be together. If you have more than 4 people in your party, we recommend you purchase your tickets 30 days in advance so we can arrange your seats together.
  • Will I have a problem in booking Shinkansen trains during holiday season?
    During holiday season, the tickets for Shinkansen trains will be in high demands. We would suggest you to reserve tickets in advance. Most of Shinkansen trains have non-reserved carriages too.
