West of the castle is the Nishinomaru Garden, which recolor into romantic pink every spring during cherry blossom. The water in the moat is very clear, and you may catch an impressive view of the castle reflecting on the water on sunny day. The Gokurakubashi Bridge, located in the northern part of the park, connects the outer garden to the main castle. Continue strolling around the moat, you will find the Peach Grove and the Plum Grove. The garden is one known to be one of the most scenic in the country.
How to get to Osaka Castle
The nearest metro station is Tanimachi Yonchome Station, allowing travelers to access the castle in a 10 minute walk. JR offers an even more convenient station, the Osakajokoen Station, right in front of one of the entrances.
Opening Hours: 9:00-17:00,16:30 stop to entry, the opening time will be extended in spring and autumn.
