Wakakusa no Yado Maruei Ryokan is a Japanese-style ryokan near Mt. Fuji and located on the south bank of Lake Kawaguchi. It is featuring open-air baths on the top floor as well as a variety of baths and seasonal Japanese cuisine. The ryokan has 50 rooms and has been recently refurbished (2019). Fantastic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi are seen from most of the rooms and each room has a refrigerator, a seating area and an in-room safe. Guests can experience delicious kaiseki course meals that feature a harmony of seasonal delights, and a Japanese-style set meal breakfast is served daily from 7 am to 9:00 am. The quiet location away from the noisy ryokan district in Lake Kawaguchi area. Wakakusa no Yado Maruei Ryokan is within a 10-min walk of the Itchiku Kubota Art Museum which boasts a stunning view of Mt. Fuji.
