Ho Chi Minh City  
Once called Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam. Its historical significance cannot be understated. The country's economic and cultural center is home to beautiful French colonial architecture and wide streets filled to the brim with traffic. Millions of tourists visit the city each year to explore the downtown area, which they can do in one of the many "motorcycle taxis" or cycle rickshaws that allow for a slower pace. Visitors like to try the food, explore historical buildings, and attend performances. The Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum are two popular destinations among seemingly endless possibilities of sights in the city.


 
Hanoi  
The capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, lies on the banks of the Red River. This area is known for its classical architecture and rich culture, which combines elements of Southeast Asia with those of China and France. The original Old Quarter can be found past hordes of merchants, and here you can find farm-fresh foods, and you can observe or participate in many streetside attractions. The city's economy and infrastructure have been quickly growing to support a more modern lifestyle alongside the preserved historical foundations.


 
Hoi An
Hoi An is one of the most important Southeast Asian trading ports between the 15th and 19th centuries. Much of its historical past has been preserved, and unique sights include the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Quan Cong Temple. These things help contribute to the old-town feel of Hoi An's buildings and streets that that the city has become famous for. Visitors to the area enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Site's history, foreign and local architecture, crafts, culinary wonders, and museums. It is now one of Vietnam's wealthiest towns and one of the nation's most significant tourist destinations.


 
Hue  
Located on the banks of the Huong River in central Vietnam is Hue, the country's former imperial capital. The city is known for its rich cultural history. The Citadel and Royal Palace inside of the Imperial City are popular destinations for tourists. Monuments, tombs, pagodas, and French-style buildings stand along the Perfume River. In addition, the city's unique climate, mountainous terrain, and location contribute to an abundance of delicious fruits, vegetables, and seafood. Paddy fields, forests, and rivers are supported by the region's microclimate, and good beaches. Visitors to Hue can enjoy the city's historical dynastic culture along with its wonderful biodiversity.
