Day 1  Arrive Tokyo & Airport-Hotel Transfer

Arrival into Tokyo Narita International Airport, where the representative of Japanholiday will bring you to the hotel (hours of shuttle operation 10:30-21:30). If you miss the last shuttle (depart at 22:30), please proceed to hotel at your own expenses. For guests arriving at Haneda Airport, please make own arrangement to Hotel.
How to find our representative at the Narita Airport Tokyo:
(Terminal 1)  Our representative location: South Exit S1,
If you arrive at the North Exit, you should go to the South Exit S1.
(Terminal 2)  Our representative location: Exit B,
If you arrive at Exit A, you should turn to your right hand side and go straight until arriving Exit B

Day 2  Tokyo Sightseeing

After breakfast, transport to the Imperial Palace - the residence of the royal family of Tokyo. Visit the Nijubashi Bridge (which means the double bridge). Then proceed to Senso-ji Buddhist Temple in historic Asakusa district. Nakamise-Dori Street is the main approach to this ancient temple, and all along the road are traditional shop fronts for souvenir items and snacks. Next, visit the Tokyo Sky Tree. We will conclude the day's tour with a visit to Ginza where Tokyo's most famous department stores, entertainment district, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs, and cafes.During the autumn season (10/16/2020 -11/27/2020), special features of Ginkgo Avenue in Meiji-Jingu Gaien Park, autumn foliage in Yoyogi Park, and Rikugien Garden will be added to the itinerary.

Day 3  Tokyo - Hakone - Hamamatsu

After breakfast, we will head towards the foothills of Fuji Mountain. Enjoy the scenic landscape at Mt. Fuji 5th Station. If the weather is unpleasant, we will visit Mount Fuji World Heritage Center instead. Next visit the Five Lakes District. Visit Oshino Hakkai, a historic natural attraction comprising eight ponds that are all that remains of a former sixth lake dried up several hundred years ago. Next proceed to Gotemba Peace Park, which is known as one of the best spots for sightseeing in the district. After a short walk in Heiwa Park, you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. There is also a Japanese garden with a pond located in the park. Tonight, we will dine on the local delicacies of the traditional multi-course Japanese dinner/buffet. Enjoy all the facilities of the hotel and the varieties of hot springs spa.

Day 4  Day 4 Hamamatsu - Kyoto

After breakfast, we will visit a jewelry workshop and see the work of a craftsmen. Then drive to Kyoto, proceed to Nishijin Textile Center to learn about the history and technology of the industry. Later, we will visit the Yasaka Shrine, one of the most influential shrines in Kyoto. Next, we will proceed to Gion. Gion is Kyoto's most famous geisha district, filled with shops, restaurants, and ochaya (teahouses). The most popular area of Gion is Hanami-koji Street from Shijo Avenue to Kenninji Temple. The street and its side alleys are lined with preserved machiya houses many of which now function as restaurants.During the autumn season (10/16/2020 -11/27/2020), the special feature of autumn foliage in Arashiyama and Togetsu-kyo Bridge will be added to the itinerary.

Day 5  Kyoto - Nara - Osaka

After breakfast, we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kiyomizu-dera a Buddhist temple founded in 778AD. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Fushimi-Inari Taisha. Fushimi Inari Shrine is an important Shinto shrine located in southern Kyoto. Next visit Nara Deer Park, where you can interact with hundreds of deer inhabited in the area. Then visit Kasuga-taisha, a traditional shrine surrounded by plants. We will arrive at Shinsaibashi in Osaka for some shopping. Dotonbori filled with theaters, restaurants bars, cafe and nightlife. Please enjoying at your leisure.

Day 6  Osaka - Taipei

After breakfast, our guide will assist you on the airport shuttle to Kansai International Airport(shuttle fee at your own expense), where you will fly to Taoyuan,Taipei. Upon arrival at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, you will see our representative at the Arrival Hall and will enjoy the free shuttle bus to the hotel (For any last minute change, please call the Taiwan emergency contact or consult with the Tourism Bureau service counter). Hotel check-in is after 3:00PM. Relax on your own for the remainder of the day.

Day 7  Taipei - Hualien

After breakfast, we will visit National Palace Museum where houses the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures and imperial collections. At noon, we will experience Taiwanese Beef Noodles. After lunch, we will head to Hualien to visit National Taroko Park. (Please be noticed that if the road is blocked due to typhoons or heavy rain, this attraction will be rescheduled into Qixingtan Beach.) At the evening, we will go to Amis Folk Center where exhibits tribal art crafts, and perform traditional dance.

Day 8  Hualien - Taipei

After breakfast, we will visit Yeh-liu Geopark. You may learn the development process of mushroom rock as well as witness the appearance of ginger rock, cleavage, pothole, melting erosion panel etc. Then,proceed to Jiufen Old Street, which used to be the center of gold mining. With the decline of gold mining activities, Jiufen faded but it has successfully transformed into a famous tourism spot. Afterwards, we will head to Pinxi, where is rich in culture and history and provide a nice glimpse at Taiwan's beautiful natural scenery. Events such as the Sky Lantern Festival draw visitors year round to create a Chinese lantern with a wish written on it to set into the sky (Lantern fee is excluded). At night, we will have Din Tai Fung for dinner. It has been selected as the "Top 10 restaurant in the world" by and has won Michelin Star restaurant for five times.

Day 9  Taipei

Today is a free day for you to enjoy Tokyo at your own leisure.

Day 10  Taipei - Home City (Service End)

After breakfast, check out hotel and take the shuttle bus on own expense (approximately USD5/per person) to Taoyuan International Airport (Buses will run for the flight departing time between 09:30am to 21:15pm), where you will depart on your flight back home as you conclude your marvelous journey through Japan & Taiwan.

  • Does the Japan Taiwan group tour include the flight from Japan to Taiwan?
    No, the flight from Japan to Taiwan is not included. We recommend booking with your international flight to save some money. If you need help booking a flight, please contact our representative.
  • Do I have the same tour guide in Japan and Taiwan?
    No, there will be two different tour guides serving you in Japan and Taiwan. After the end of the Japan tour, another local tour guide will greet you at Taiwan airport and help you to check in at the hotel. The Taiwan tour guide will accompany you on the 5 days in Taiwan.
  • What will be provided on the vegetarian meal during Japan and Taiwan tour?
    We can provide vegetarian meal, but it is with local vegetarian foods. The vegetarian meals served in Japan are different from that in Taiwan. If you have any special requirement on the meal, please contact our customer service.
  • Do I need to pay extra tips to tour guides in Japan and Taiwan?
    The tour payment already includes the tips for tour guide and driver in Taiwan and Japan. If you like the services of our tour guides and drivers, you are more than welcome to tips extra.
  • What type of meals will be provided during Japan and Taiwan group tour?
    The hotels usually serve Western breakfast in buffet style. Lunch and dinner are usually served with local foods. You will have a chance to try a traditional Japanese cuisine and Taiwan specialty snacks.
