Jakarta
The capital and largest city of Indonesia is Jakarta. It covers an area of approximately 640 square km, and the official metropolitan area is the second largest in the world. Bandung
Bandung is Indonesia's third largest city by population, and it is also the capital of the West Java province. It is located at an altitude of 768 meters and is surrounded by beautiful lush mountains known as the Parahyangan, and it consists of a mild and pleasant climate. Yogakarta  
Yogakarta, also known as Joja or Jogjakarta is the capital city in Java. The city is known for its education, its classical Javanese fine arts, and cultures such as batik, drama, music, poetry and puppet show. During Gedung Agung's presidential reign, between 1945 and 1949, Yogyakarta was the capital city of Indonesia. The metropolitan area is currently home to over 3.3 million people, modernized with cyber cafes, huge malls and traffic jams, though still maintaining its customs and rituals from the past.


 
Bali  
Bali, one of the prime travel destinations in the world, is an island of Indonesia. It includes other smaller islands, such as Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Bali is certainly Indonesia's number one tourist destination, as tourists have been rising in the region from the 1980s. Bali is also known for its arts, such as traditional and modern dance, painting, sculptures, metalwork and music.
